Webster’s Summer Celebration returns!

Updated: May 29, 2021

2021 welcomes the return of one of Webster’s favorite summer events

Webster, NY - If you’ve been wondering if there will be anything to do in Webster this summer, fear not! Webster Parks & Recreation is bringing back its Summer Celebration this year on Saturday, June 12.

Thanks to the COVID pandemic, last year’s traditional Webster Summer Celebration was canceled. Webster Parks & Recreation replaced it with a “Summer Celebration Re-Imagined” event―distributing bags full of summer surprises to families drive-thru style―but it wasn’t quite the same.

But now that COVID restrictions are slowly lifting, Webster Parks & Recreation is planning this year’s Summer Celebration the way it was meant to be: complete with live music, food trucks, and fireworks.

That being said, NYS COVID guidelines will still be strictly enforced. For example, there will be no kids’ activities and no shuttle service this year.

A parking lot will be reserved for “Family Fireworks Viewing” starting at 8 p.m. Families will need to remain in or near their vehicles during the fireworks to maintain social distance.

The Summer Celebration will take place on June 12 from 5 to 10 p.m. at 1350 Chiyoda Drive, Webster. Live music will feature Stateline at 5:45 p.m. and Brass Taxi at 8 p.m. Food trucks will include Wraps on Wheels, Nancy’s Fried Dough, Effortlessly Healthy, Bay Vista Taqueria, and Seabreeze Catering & Hotsauce.

Fireworks will begin at 9:45 p.m.
