Webster firefighters rescue pets from house fire

Officials determined that the house was a complete loss

Webster, NY - A home at Blue Spruce Drive in Webster caught fire early Saturday morning.

West Webster firefighters arrived on scene around 2 a.m. to find flames and smoke coming from the garage and spreading into the house.

Firefighters rescued a dog, cat, and bird from the fire; each animal was reported safe.

No injuries were reported.

Due to the extent of the smoke and water damage, the house was considered a total loss by fire officials.

The Webster Fire Department assisted the West Webster Fire Department with the fire. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
