Man dies in fatal car accident on 104 access road
Two children passengers, ages 1 and 4, were injured
Webster, N.Y. - A man was killed in a fatal car accident on the 104 eastbound access road from Five Mile Line Road to Hard Road in the Town of Webster on Oct. 7.
According to New York State Police, at approximately 10 a.m., Sheldon Wethington, 28, was trying to exit Route 104 at the Hard Road exit “when his vehicle left the south shoulder and crossed over the access lanes and struck the ditch causing it to overturn multiple times.”
Two children passengers, ages 1 and 4, were also in the vehicle.
Wethington was taken to Strong Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The two children, who had been secured in child seats when the accident occurred, were transported to Strong for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the investigation is continuing.
