Being stuck at home to #FlattenTheCurve doesn’t have to be boring. There are many ways to keep the kids entertained at home. For instance, the Webster Public Library is shaking things up by posting step-by-step videos of its creative librarians performing various science experiments. Children (or make it a family activity!) can follow the steps at home.

While most libraries are posting storytimes for children on YouTube, the Webster Public Library is striving to both entertain AND educate virtually, giving children a variety of captivating content to choose from.

That’s not to say the Webster library isn’t also sharing storytime videos. Its YouTube page includes other content as well, including storytime, skits, songs, and rhymes.

You can browse the library’s YouTube channel Here.

The library invites families to email webster.reference@libraryweb.org to share how their experiments turned out and which ones they enjoyed most.
